I ordered a laptop and just found out that it only has Windows on the hard drive. It will also need a router and wireless card so I can use it with the DSL on my existing computor. My main question is how do I get Internet Explorer onto it? Do I need to install the router and wirecard first?
    Thank you.

I'd be suprised if it doesn't have internet explorer (Which has been an included install since Windows 95 at least). I'm not really one to use it though, Internet explorer's only purpose to me is to download Firefox.

Does the laptop include a wireless card by chance? Most modern ones (from the last 3-4 years anyways) usually have one as a standard option.

As for the router, if you want to get online and you don't have one, you may want to get one. That is assuming you have another computer at home and want to share the net connection.
