Hey all. Just got the NP9262 in my hands today. I ordered it from XoticPC and have nothing but the best things to say about them. I've been up all morning trying to get everything set up. I did not have it come with Vista or anything else pre-installed on it so I am pretty much on my own here.

I am using Windows Vista Ultimate x64 at the moment. After the initial install of the wireless adapter's drivers that came with the notebook it seemed to be working quite well. Unfortunately, things started getting a little weird.

The wireless card in the PC is the Intel Wireless WiFi Link 4965AGN.

The router I am using is the Belkin F5D7230-4 aka Wireless G Router.

The router was being used by an old Dell and a Toshiba long before today and has not had any problems.

Anyways, like I said, it was working fine then out of nowhere started acting funny. It would connect sometimes then freeze after starting to download something or opening too many web pages simultaneously. After trying to reconnect I would see that it does in fact recognize the router and have a good signal coming from it but it does not properly connect (unless it is random, but it does not last for long). Upon diagnosing using the simple feature that it asks to use after failing to disconnect it simply tells me that it is unable to connect again. All other routers in the area seem to also be working fine.

I updated the wireless drivers with version 11.5.0.32, but this still did not seem to change anything.

I also tried playing with the a/b/g settings on the device properties, but it did not change anything whatsoever. So far I'm thinking it has something to do with 64bit Vista being incompatible with a lot of stuff (could be wrong but I'm very tired :p). I made sure that the option for the notebook to have permission to disable the wireless feature to save power was off even though I run it with the cord.

I am all out of ideas so if anyone has any information or ideas I would really appreciate hearing them.
