I reset my router and now it doesn't work, it turns on and shows that all the things are hooked up but my laptop can't find it and my 360 keeps failing DNS with it. Any ideas?

    Hi.

Did you re-enter all your ISP details correctly , can you browse the internet with your notebook.

I have my Netgear running with my 360 fine, I did not have to enter any setting it just workes.

    Regards

    John.

I just pressed the reset button on my router, hooked all the wires back up and tried to find the wireless network but it was nowhere. Not even my Xbox 360 plugged wired can connect. When my laptop is hooked wired to my modem I can browse the internet, etc.

Sounds like you need to do the setup again. Make sure you download the latest firmware for it. If you want a clean start there is a procedure to clear all user info out.

I think in your case you need to enter the connection info for your isp. I would also clone the MAC address of the pc that works into the router. May not be required but down not hurt.
