    I want to buy an External HDD enclosure for a Seagate Barracuda Green 2TB drive. I stumbled upon this it is an NDAS/eSATA/USB 2.0 external hard drive enclosure. I looked up some reviews on it, and Smallnetbuilder said it was ok, that a NAS is better.

    I really want to get this, but I do not want to lose the stuff on my HDD.

    Like I said SmallNetBuilder said it was good for the money, but it had some limitations that I really didn't understand.
