    Hi there people,
    I was wondering why all of the sudden my laptop can't connect to the internet, wether using WIFI or connecting via LAN.. it never happened before..and the problem just began a couple of days ago... it doest work both at my house and my shcool (everyone was able to connect except me :( ) , why is that??? can anyone help me out...???

    Perhaps you need new drivers? I doubt it but mind as well.

    What is the exact problem, so we can better assist? But you could try to adjust your firewall settings.

    What are your IP settings when connected?

    To obtain them, double click on the network icon in the system tray, choose the "Support" tab, click "Details", then do a Copy-Paste.

    Good check Doc, I have seen pc's spontaneously loose IP settings for no reason I or or Admin could decipher.

    I found that by updating my Intel card's wireless dirvers to the latest it really helped with my internet connection stability - try that. Download the drivers from Intel's site.
