hey guys, first thread i open around here, an i wanted to ask a simple question.

i have two USB wireless cards and i gotta use one on my sister's computer, but i want to keep the best one for me.

    the exact models are:

1- INVENTEL Ur054g (seems to have a conexant-prism chipset ) needs additional drivers to function, but easy to find.
2- TPLINK TL-WN321G (automatically recognized by windows)

if any of you guys know any specific reasons as to keep any one of them, plz let me know...

Since you have both at your disposal why don't you use inSSIDer to measure signal quality of both in the same location (preferably in several locations ranging from good to bad)

Some throughput tests (transferring a big file and measuring time) and general stability testing should conclude the comparison.

That would be far better than anything we can come up with based on chipsets used and technical data.
