If I get an N wireless card in my new laptop, can I still use it A/B/G networks? I actually don't want N b/c I don't have an N router, but some systems only come with an N card (for example the Dell Outlet). Would I be able to connect to non-N networks?

For example, the N cards that come with Dell Studios or HP-dv45t?

Yes. The "N" cards coming out are backwards compatible with wireless a, b, and g (or should be, if not, that means you've got a defective card). The primary thing to check for is the specs of the actual card you'll be getting; that, more than anything else, will determine compatibility.
