    Mysterious Dell Mobile Wireless options and devices

    Finally replaced my 5yr old Thinkpads with a couple of Dells. I would like to hear opinions or suggestions for mobile wireless devices or services to implement in these two laptops. Dell's website has a number of products listed but it is very hard to tell the merits of one compared to the others. ie. which are most reliable; do they furnish the screws needed for after order installation? Which service ATT, Sprint, etc. Is a sim card required or is there another connection method? Which card(s) are faster/slower, etc. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Dells support recommended only one card to me (their most expensive) and one service, ATT and could not tell me if the device came with the screws necessary to install (secure) it in an E6420 or M4600.

    Does anyone have prior experience with this type of device, hardware combination, installation in current Dell Latitudes or wireless service? Any info or advice greatly appreciated.

    Doesnt both laptops support the gobi which means, att, sprint or verizon? In my m4500 the wwan install is a breeze and no there was no screw in the spot it goes, so it should include one.

    I prefer to use external devices for wwan.
