I got my Thinkpad T400 this morning, and I couldn't get it to connect wirelessly with my router. When I connected it to the router with an ethernet cord, it worked though.

So I went to my friend's house today, and I decided to bring it along to see if it could connect to his router. It worked. I would assume it's a compatibility issue, but I don't think so because it works with ethernet. Any help would be appreciated!

edit: also, whenever I try to connect to it I get the error message "Driver Disconnected While Associating"

try installing the newest drivers from lenovo's website. If you're using Access Connections, then try using Windows' built in networking, and vice versa.

What router do you own? What router does your friend own? What wifi card do you have in the laptop?
