Well, my laptop can pick up wireless internet pretty well and it is in good shape after half year or so. Only problem is that when I plug in the internet wire into the computer, internet doesn't work. (Sorry don't know what it is called.) Any advice would be well appreciated.

Why would you want to go wired? There is no speed advantage. Are you talking about the ethernet cable?

I'm in a different country.. lol.. the place where I'm living at currently doesn't have a wireless setup so I'll have to just take wired. And yeah I'm talking about ethernet cable.

Yes, there is a speed difference. A wired connected is faster than a wireless connection.

AzN, have you checked to see if the internal NIC is disabled?

if you are on battery, it's possible the NIC is disabled for power conservation.

In my network connections there is only Wireless net folder and 1394 adapter folder. I'm not sure if LAC is on. When I go onto device manager I see that ethernet controller doesn't have any drivers and that might seem to be the problem. Also under internet net adapters (something similar forgot exact name) only 1394 and wireless internet is there.

If your NIC doesn't have any drivers, that would explain why you can't connect to the internet. Download the correct drivers for your internal network card and install them.
