At&t has given me NO help. I have no clue where to start searching.

Basically, my wireless does not work except on my iPod. All my other devices see the connection but cannot connect. LAN works.

Last week the wireless on my 2WIRE router from at&t shut off. The problem hasn't fixed itself. Every time I turn on my iPod touch (2nd gen) the wireless turns on (light turns on) and wireless works only for my iPod. My PC laptop or iPad do not connect. I've been using this router for 2 years and last week I had this problem. I've had no hardware changes.

    The rundown:
    Wireless light is off
PC laptop and iPad can see the network but cannot connect (light is still off)
I turn on my iPod touch (just clicking the black sleep button on top)
Within 3 seconds my iPod touch connects to wireless (it can go on internet, fb, engadget, etc)
    Wireless light immediately turns on
Although the light is on, my PC laptop and iPad still cannot connect to router

My iPod touch turns on wireless when it is on.

I can provide any wireless info. I need a place to start. Desperate! Any help?

What settings should I view to diagnose my problem?

Set your laptop and iPad to use the same wireless settings as your iPod... of course. But that sounds too simple, if they once worked and now do not.

If they can't connect I would check security settings, make sure all passwords are correct and if you use MAC address filtering that they are also correct. If they can see the network but can't connect then a setting must be blocking them.

Try doing a hard reset on the router, generally that works when they start acting wonky. and if that fails you would be better off getting a dedicated wireless router and plug it to one of the defective one's ethernet port.

Ok, finally got it fixed. At&t just restarted my router, renamed it, and changed the password. There was definitely something blocking the connection.

The guy also said to unplug the power and replug the router if I had any other problems. Thanks Ayle.
