    Hi all.
I had posted a few days ago about wanting to switch to broadband phone service.
I needed to make cheap long distance business calls from home, and I live in the country where cell signals are hit and miss.
I went with Vonage and decided to keep the bare bones on my land line so I can still receive all my business calls there. I could have switched the number, but I wanted the reliability of the land line to be sure I didn't miss any calls.
I hooked up a cheap new Motorola ($35) 2.4 GHZ cordless phone to it.
    I'm shocked!
The reception is much clearer than the 5.4 GHZ phone on my land line.
Time will tell if this has consistency, but it definitely has made a great first impression on me!

Wow, thats is great to hear your having a smooth transmission to vonage.
If its possible about the reception, somethings might just be close or near to that frequency. But its just my opinion.
Hope it keeps working for you!
