The apartment I am staying at has a LAN connection. I just plug my cable into the port and I get internet that way. However, when I play MW2, it says that my NAT is STRICT. And I can't find good games and sometimes it's hard to connect. Anyway to by pass this? I can't set any stuff at the building's router of course as that's out of my control.

Forum rules prevent the discussions of bypassing security

Any tampering on your part can foul up the security put in place by your network administrator

You are probably behind a proxy server or firewall, which is why you are experiencing NAT issues. Contact your network administrator for help.

I don't have access to the building's router. I merely connect via a LAN cable.

    Depends in what country ...

Get/pay for your own cable or dsl line.

I would never use lan that I don't have full control over.
Don't even have to try it hard to extract all your personal/login infos for admins or other users ...
