I just set up my wireless network. While setting it up, I got distracted and did not enter a key. Now I can't figure out how to go back and enter one. I can’t seem to find what I need in Nickspohn’s Wireless Guide.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    Thanks,

    Adam

Type in 192.168.1.100 where you would type a website in. hit enter, and then enter the password if you put one on it, (just hit enter if you dont)

And then there should be options to change the security.

In most of the networks around me the gateway is 192.168.1.1 or sometimes 192.168.2.1 . You can check the the gateway address in properties of the wireless connection. Just in case. :)

    Cheers,

You will have to excuse the newby here but...I'll need a little more hand holding.

From which computer should I do this from, my desktop (that's where the router is plugged into) or notebook.

From which screen/folder/website should I type this into?

    Thanks,

    Adam

The router gateway usually can be accessed from any Internet browser if you type that addresses we gave into the address bar. It will ask you for login and password probably. It can be done from any computer in the network.

    Hope it helps,

    No problem, for future reference:

you can do this on any computer that is wired/wireless to your router. (Yes, both)

Did you get the security up and running?
