I'm trying to configure my mobile phone (I-Mate JASJAR) as wireless modem on my laptop which has Vista Business.

Despite activating BLUETOOTH on the mobile, i'm still not able to link the 2 together i.e setting up 'Bluetooth Device' on my laptop ?!

I.e Start -> Control Panel -> Bluetooth Devices. Click on Add >> Does'nt recognise my Mobile phone !

And yes, i have managed to install ACTIVESYNC (Vista x32) on my laptop & managed to 'SYNC' the 2 devices together.

Do i need to install any additional drivers on my laptop to in order to accomplish my task of using my mobile as Wireless Modem ?

I've found a USB Modem Drivers URL download but not sure if & how to deploy it - PLS ADVISE !!

Your probably not going to be able to bluetooth your modem. It will more than likely have to be connected via a USB cable. Then you can set the modem up as a USB modem. Your trying to do 2 things at once there.

Most Phones are cabable of USB DUN, but very few older ones can do Bluetooth DUN. Mines not supposed to do either. Yet with the help of the Samsung PST, Its capable of DUN that uses minutes, and since I have an enormous amount of minutes, its basically free.
