I'd like to add a SIM slot to my Notebook which I upgraded with a 3G/Wifi Combo card. There is not much space to waste to place the SIM holder and cut an opening in the chassis.

So I'm looking for an extension cable or adapter which provides a Micro or Nano SIM slot. So far I'm only aware of "Whatever Size SIM" to "Standard SIM" solutions like this one: B42 micro SIM to SIM Card Extender

What I'm looking for is a "Whatever Size SIM" to "Micro or Nano SIM" adapter, cable or slot. Does such a thing exist?
