    Hi guys!
    i just wanted to ask WHY THE HELL my INTEL Wireless program is using over 300MB of RAM????????
    is there any way to fix it?
    any patches or something?

    Yes there is a leak, Intel owned up to it( in the articles )
    and was supposed to have released a patch, around the
    beginning of this month. Read through the linked articles
    for more clarification. The original driver was 10.5.0.0,
    now it's 10.5.1.59

    Edit: On re-reading the info; it seems that the ProSet
    software is the source of the leak. One suggestion is
    to remove Proset, upgrade driver, then use the generic
    windows setup. Heres another link to an Intel page;

    As nail17 stated. Just upgrade the driver only. This will bypass the installation of the clunky Proset Software.
