MediaTek today announced the world’s first live demo of Wi-Fi 7 technology, highlighting the capabilities of its forthcoming Wi-Fi 7 Filogic connectivity portfolio. MediaTek is currently showcasing two Wi-Fi 7 demos to key customers and industry collaborators to demonstrate the technology’s super-fast speeds and low latency transmission.
Even though IEEE says it doesn't expect to have the final Wi-Fi 7 standard ready until 2024, companies will surely be selling hardware based on the draft standard expected this year. Indeed, MediaTek says it expects to be marketing hardware capable of Wi-Fi 7 connections in 2023.

320mhz sounds great but, 1-2 years into AXE there's still no HW on the server side to provide the benefits of 6ghz. 7 might offer additional benefits like the doubling of bandwidth again but, as 6E went so far there will be plenty of client cards but nothing to connect to to take advantage of the speeds. Regulatory approvals are still dripping in from around the globe to open up the 6GHZ spectrum approvals and MFG's are dragging their feet before ramping up production.
