Hi, i would like to know what are some good ways in windows xp to boost wireless range. I have tryed under the configureation disabling power mode, and enebling speed boost.

Are there any other ways without buying external adaptors of improving your wireless signal?

Please dont tell me to move my router.

There's nothing you can do in your OS. You can get custom firmware for your router (if your router supports it, like the Linksys WRT54 series and hyperWRT firmware) and boost the signal strength, or you can buy better antennas, or you can centrally locate your router.

You could also look at getting an access point halfway between your router and where you're wanting to use your computer. You can find these at Best Buy or anywhere like that if I'm not mistaken.
