    Mapping access points

    At my school, apparently they have wireless routers places all over the place. And when on the internet depending on where you sit, you can have a hell of a time loading one page all because of where you sit and how many people sit near the routers. Now the routers arent exactly physically visible since if they were people could mess around with em and what not.

    Basically i just want an app that will give me an approximate location of the router so i can sit as close to them as possible to get the best signal as possible. Im not sure if an application like this exist or not, but if it does please let me know. (I know of Vistumbler but i think i need a gps to get the full use of it.)

    Note: I have vista 32bit and 64bit, which probably might make things alot more difficult.

    You will need to make a shield for your NB antennas so you can make them directional. That is the only way unless you do a full map of the area to locate them.
