Do you know how to open your case and spot a pci slot?

If you have an open pci slot I would use a wireless pci card, thats what I did for my HTPC.

If you do not or prefer simplicity, then they have usb wireless adapters.

    Let's clarify here...

    Wireless as in internet/LAN?

    -or-

Wireless as in peripherals such as Bluetooth keyboard/mouse/speakers etc. ?

Okay then. The internet part has already been answered.

For the peripherals the only thing you won't be able to make wireless is of course the computer itself which requires power to the wall outlet. You can use Bluetooth for keyboard, mice, and speakers. You will also need a good wireless b/g/n router if you want to use a wireless monitor (I'm not too up on these, tho'). This also means you need to ensure you have enough USB 2.0 ports to handle the wireless dongles. A decent power supply inside the computer is also a must. Be aware that some of these wireless peripherals can get quite expensive.

If you are a gamer, I would not recommend going totally wireless. The potential for lag, battery swaps, and signal interferences could cause problems.

Oh, and since we're talking your desktop you should be posting/visiting here.
