I have a D-Link DIR-628 Modem and I can't get my MacBook to connect to it. I have a PC running Vista that can connect just fine. I'm using a mixed mode on the router with 802.11b,g,n so that shouldn't be the problem. I can see the network on the Mac and I type the password in but it just says there was an error and couldn't connect. Any ideas?

Try to reconfigure the modem. There should be a page with the settings. Go there and play around with the settings on it untill it will connect properly. Beware that you dont mess with anything in there that you dont know how to get back to normal!

Make sure your Mac's wireless drivers are up to date for your wireless card.

Thanks for the help. I think it might have been the firmware on the router because I updated that and it can connect now.
