I purchased the R1 M14x a few years ago and I have recently moved into a rented townhouse with three friends for school. We set up an internet line with Teksavvy and they sent us a "Smart rg" SR505N 802.11n VDSL2 modem/router. Once installed, connecting on my Samsung Galaxy S4 was a breeze and my friends quickly connected on their laptops as well. I typed in the password and it tried to connect, then the Windows message appears that it couldn't connect to it and that I should troubleshoot the wireless connection. It keeps failing to connect and I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my next steps.

Actually, since I had no instant replies, I tried doing a tutorial off of google. It was the worst idea ever and had me delete all my wireless card drivers and I had no internet, even with a wired connection. That made me restore the computer to a setting in August and magically?? my wifi works! I don't know if that will help anyone in the future but I guess somehow some settings were changed. Thanks all!

Sorry my reply is late! There are loads of problems with this network adapter, google is full of people having issues getting a stable driver for it. I'm glad yours appears to be working now, mine still isn't!
