Sometimes, randomly, after waking my laptop up from sleep mode. The internet will have this problem where the connectivity is limited or something.
The only website I can go to is my homepage (gmail login screen) but when I try to go anywhere else, the page is just blank and firefox just keeps trying to load the page until it times out.
According to my wireless manager, I have an excellent connection and apparently there's nothing wrong.

After many restarts, now the problem is gone. (for now)

    Why is this the case?
    Thanks

Check you power management and see if it's putting the wireless to sleep or lowering the power. There are also settings in the advanced port properties.

Does the connection repairs it self using the repair feature or by disabling and enabling it?

Since it only happens when coming out of sleep mode I'll assume the MTU is correct. If your on DSL set the MTU to 1492 (def 1500).

I don't think it should be lowering the power since the laptop is plugged in and on high performance mode
Umm the connection doesn't repair itself since there isn't a connection problem that windows can detect

MTU? Sorry, I'm not familiar with this type of lingo.
All I know is that I have cable and my laptop is connected through a wireless network and the internet connection has been fine for the past few hours
