    Lost my wireless password

    I just reformated my laptop. I had my password saved on it. It is encrypted, and now I cant get on my network! I still have my desktop though. Is there a way to reset my password w/ my desktop?

    Reset the router? Before you rush to do it, google for the manufacturers page or your ISPs page. You may have to add firmware template to it again

    just log in the router via your desktop and change the wpa or wep password. login address should be 192.168.2.1 or 192.168.1.1

    found a site that had it. Thanks for the help. there is a reset button on the router. then I used network settings to find the router ip
