I connected my HP netbook to my wireless router and after a few minutes I loose connected to the internet. If I do not connect the HP netbook everything works fine. ( The desktop and my wireless notebook). But when I try to connect the HP netbook I loose connection on all three systems. I restart the wireless router and I am back online. Why would the HP netbook cause this problem. Thanks for any information on this.

Try upgrading your router's firmware. You did not say if your on DSL/cable. It does not hurt to clone your MAC address of the computer used to setup the account in to the router. This will make the router appear as your PC, no matter how many pc's you connect to your router.

Now there are some routers that have problems with multiple connections. It's possiable that that limit is getting hit and the router can not handle it. Firmware upgrade should help this but may not fix it. www.smallnetbuilder.com has a router table/info that gives spec on what the limit are per router. You may have to read the review but I think the table can be sorted on max connections.
