Not sure if this is a grey area but i'm looking for an IP changer so I can watch some live programming on the BBC website. Since i'm in the US i'd like the ability to change my IP address to one that looks like a .uk.co address.

Again this is a grey area and if there's a problem, mods go ahead and close the thread. ;)

hey, it's just one solution out of many: thefreevpn. Run it and connect to a UK based server. you will be assigned a UK IP address and you'll be able to do what you want. Note that the bandwidth is capped so you will probably not get your dull downlink speed. If you need something faster it'll probably cost ya ;)

Connecting through a Proxy is a way to do it, good free anonymous proxy's with enough bandwidth to serve what you want are like rocking horse do do.

You may want to look at:

Great Britain (UK) Open Proxy List

However the BBC has only allowed a certain range of IP addresses in the UK so you'd have to hope someone is running an open proxy on one of these addresses.

Otherwise if you have friends in UK consider getting them a slingbox, I set this up once for someone who migrated to the States and still wanted to watch his Formula 1. It worked well and he could control channel etc.

I tunnel through a private service for my F1 feeds LOL

Only down side is some of the speeds are really slow on some proxies
