Hey guys I have a problem with a wireless keyboard
I bought a Logitech Wireless Illuminated Keyboard K800 and first two weeks I used it, it worked flawlessly. Just plug and play. Then I didn't use it for 2 weeks and tried it again yesterday and it didn't work.

I exchanged it for a new keyboard and same thing. The Reciever thats plugged in is not being detected and therefore the keyboard doesn't work.

However I have a logitech wireless mouse which works. The only explanation is that after I installed a program to let my PS3 controller be able to work on the laptop, when I play Witcher 2.

Anyone have any ideas why it won't work? Also, I exchanged the keyboard for a new one, and it doesn't work also. So i'm sure it's not the keyboard and has to do with the laptop.

If anyone have any ideas, please let me know. I have an Asus G73JW running Window 7 Pro 64bit

    UPDATE:
Tested the keyboard on another computer and it works.
For some reason the pc is not detecting the wireless keyboard when i put the USB reciever in. I'm lost on what to do? Any drivers out there that can fix this?

If you didn't already do so uninstall any software including drivers in device manager and reinstall. Other than that good luck.

Tried using the Windows built-in 'System Restore' utility to restore to the point in time before you installed those PS3 drivers?

    Hopefully you had it enabled.

Unfortunately I didn't have System restore enabled. And I've uninstalling the under device manager, but it would reinstall when I reboot and thus nothing happens and the keyboard still won't work.

I'm wondering if I exchanged it for another keyboard, lets say a different Logitech wireless keyboard, would it work? Or should I get totally different brand like Microsof?

Another options is to reformat, but installing everything again and backing things up will take a long time =(

Try uninstalling the driver with your computers internet disabled.

One trick that sometimes works with problem installs is to delete your temp internet files.
