I have DSL and i was curious as to why i cant just use the 1394connection by itself, It has a connection speed of 400mps,
The local area connection has a connection speed of 100mps.
Is there a way to use the 1394connection instead of the Local area? I disabled the 1394and can get online, but when i disable the local area i can no longer get on line.
Hope i am not confusing anyone.

EDIT: from what i have been reading the 1394connection has nothing to do with connecting to the internet, Is that correct? I am a noob so dont laugh at me!
