Hey everyone. I have been having a problem with my wireless router and was wondering if any of you had any tips to help me out. I have never used a wireless router before, my wife's job gave her one to work from home but it didn't come with instructions or any kind of startup disc. The router is a Linksys with the "push button setup" and the notebook I am trying to connect is a Dell Inspiron 1720.

Last night I got everything hooked up right, pushed the button on the front of the router and it started to blink white. At this time I was able to connect to it and surf the web on my notebook. After about one minute, though, the light stopped blinking white, turned orange, and my 1720 was not connected anymore and would refuse to connect after that. I know little about wireless networks so I'm sure I'm doing something wrong.

If anybody could tell me what I need to do to make it work I'd greatly appreciate it.

Btw. My PC runs XP SP2 and the Dell runs Vista.

    Thanks everyone in advance
