I bought this back in December to replace my netgear router that physically broke when I threw it at the wall because it wouldn't work. The netgear was bought back in december of 07 to replace a router that was bought in December of 04. Anyway ...

I bought it with the intention of putting the open source firmware on it. But I decided to not do that since it worked right out of the box. The previous two routers took at least a week going back and fourth with the manufacturer to get them to work at all.

Well I finally found a problem with it. If I use any sort of VNC, the router just calls it quits. I have been playing with this for about 4 weeks now - random times, etc and vnc kills the router.

I can do file windows networking file transfer, http, ftp, gaming ... anything I can think of between the pcs and on the internet and the router won't go down. As soon as I fire up VNC, the router drops connection to the internet and drops all of the computers connected. I have to unplug and reboot.

Any suggestions as to why this is doing this?
