So I am using a WRT310N Linksys Router and just today at 2PM I received the largest and longest lag spike ever, it is still going on as I write this (10:00PM). I am receiving pings of 500+ ping and my download speed spikes like crazy. Here are my speedtest.net results [IMG]. Here are my results from Netalyzr ICSI Netalyzr — Results

I am sick of tired of dealing with massive spikes, but this is the last straw. I should be getting Download speeds of up to 25mbps and upload speeds of up to 1mbps

That's most likely not the router issue but the connection to the ISP.
You can rule out router by pinging it (ping 192.168.1.1). It will probably come back as 1ms or so (sometimes there's some fluctuation) which would mean that the rest is ISP's fault.
Also to be on the safe side re-test when connected via Ethernet.

How would I be able to ping it to 192.168.1.1? Also here are my results when connected directly through Ethernet [IMG]

It also spikes from that to this, [IMG]

Make sure that you router's address is 192.168.1.1
It's default for Linksys- that's why I used it but user can change it.
Also make sure that your firewall is disabled when you're conducting this test.

I see, my router's address is 192.168.2.1, now how would I change that. Here are my results with that IP.

While it's not the fastest ping in the world (most users have 1ms- 2ms) it doesn't matter.
As you see the latency between you and the router is no more than 4ms and the rest of 400-500ms latency is an effect of the connection between you and the server.

Just to make sure- there was no Internet activity from any of your computers while you were conducting these tests?
    Also is your wireless secured?
Did you call your ISP and complain about the speed?

There is no wireless internet activity between me and the router, my wireless is secured with a good password. I have called my ISP countless times on many occasions complaining about speed or spiking, they usually give me some generic response or they change something with my router/modem.
