    Anyone here loaded DD-WRT v24 on their WRT160N v3??

If so, can you check the prefix of your S/N. Usually says CSE21, CSE31 or CSE41

I have CSE21 but its not officially listed here . Dont wanna flash just to have it fail

If it's not listed, I wouldn't risk it. Is this one of those "I'm doing it because I can" or do you have a need for the extra functions provided by dd-wrt?

If the former, get a cheap router off craigslist.

It is listed. You have v3 and v3 is supported.
Serial numbers are used only at the beginning when there is work in progress.
After it has been finalized you go with hardware version.
If your HW version is 3, than go along with it- just follow the instructions for initial flashing.
