Yesterday I got on a chat with them to fix an issue. At the beginning they asked for my name and phone number. First time they have ever done this. Anyways person helping me was very knowledgeable and helpful, I got disconnected (firefox crash), and about 10min THEY called to continue troubleshooting, and it wasnt some person in India. Its really much improved is you ask me. :)

I love their tech support, might be that I get the special number to call, but as a tip, ALWAYS ask for level 2 support.

Most of the time when you get the first person on the phone they do nothing more than read the answers they look up in the linksys knowledge base( http://kb.linksys.com ). The level 2 and up techs for the most parts know what they are talking about. This goes for most all companies that you might be calling for tech support.
