Any advice on getting my Linksys print server to work with a wireless DSL modem (2Wire brand)

I had a Linksys router and it worked coupled with the print server but I switched from the cable company to Bellsouth DSL and they supplied the wireless modem. I can't get the print server to work.

    Any experience with this?

What specific Linksys print server do you have (model number and version), and is it wired or wireless?

You can disable the router functions on the modem from the dsl company and use your old router as the actual router, and plug in the print server to it. Just a suggestion :)

    It is a Lynksys Wireless-G Model WPS54G.

When I was using the Lynksys router I always had it connected to the router and could not get it to work wireless but at least it allowed me to separate the laptop.

I spent a lot of time on various Lynksys forums about this and apparently it is a common problem trying to get it to operate independently from the Lynksys router. I'm OK with the printer and router being connected but I prefer my laptop free to move about the house.

Ok. I also should have asked earlier, what's the model and version of your DSL modem/wireless router?

Also, as an aside, I tried the Dlink wireless print server, which never worked for me, and have been using the Netgear wireless print server for a little more than a year now without a problem, so if you're tempted to replace the print server itself, I would personally recommend the Netgear.

    It is called 2Wire (2wire.com) Model 2701HGB

Even with the Lynksys router it gave me trouble. Lots of suggestions on a Lynksys forum but oddly none were the same so there were many creative folks messing around with suggestion but it seems nobody really knew how to get it to work without a cable to the router. But that is history now.
