ok, im pretty much the computer tech of the house, (took comptia A+ certification last year , missed by 1 point  ). im about ti take it again, but not until, 1 i get the $180 needed, but after i finish comptia net+ (the class i take as a senior in high school) i have a linksys HomePortal 1800HG router\modem, and its driving me crazy.

When i graduate i already know im going to get overloaded with texts because every device that gets onto the network needs to have a static ip address subnet mask, dns, and default gateway, i got a cruz android tablet for christmas, and it cant be configured to be statically addressed. is there and way i can get dhcp on the router\modem?
