I just purchased this router. Couple of things.

    - Anyone have experience with this?
    - Is is a value? $100 bucks?

I have 30 days to bring it back so I am seeing if anyone has experience.

The problem is that Linksys E2000 is the new name for Linksys WRT320N ( proof)
You can easily buy WRT320N for $70. Apart from that it's a decent router with reasonably good hardware and DD-WRT support.

Thanks for the quick reply. I was reading that I might be about to use my WRT54G (I think thats it, ver. 2) as a bridge for a PC that is far away. Basically I am relocating my Modem and Router to my family room and instead of running wires, I can use the other router to get my desktop running to the web. Thoughts?

You might end up using DD-WRT on both routers then. Especially that WRT54G probably lacks this option in the default firmware (don't remember- it's been a while) Anyway it should work fine but you need to use 2.4GHz band (E2000/WRT320N is dual band but WRT54G just 2.4GHz)

Thanks again. You guys are soo helpful...

I have encountered another problem. It seems that I have 2 SSID's with the router that is showing up on the 2.4GHz band.
    1 - MyHomeName (WPA2)
    2 - OnyxDolphin - Guest (OPEN)

I cannot for the life of me find a way to disable this. Anythoughts?

    EDIT
It looks like the router has a guest account feature. Looks like its similar to a hotel access point.
