hi! i have a new lenovo t400 thinkpad that loses keeps losing the wireless signal from the router. there seems to be no issue with the wireless router and the wireless radio is on, but the laptop just cant seem to detect the signal. to fix the issue, i have to turn off the wireless radio and turn it back on. sometimes even that does not work and i have to restart. why is this happening? can someone please help? thanks!

Have you checked in the event viewer to see if any errors or information items are being logged? If it's a failure of software or hardware on the computer, it might have been logged there.

Other than that, have you adjusted the config of the NIC so that it's transceiving at maximum power, and set its roaming capacity low so that it isn't trying to jump after other signals that come and go?

I have the same exact set of problems. I have to toggle the wireless on and off to get it working and at times it freezes and forces me to restart the computer.

Did you have any luck solving the problem?
