I have a Thinkpad R60 (945501U) in our school, which has a Windows domain. This laptop is joined to the domain, but the user utilizes a local account. The user saves to a file server and prints occasionally to network printers served by the same server. Frequently though, it loses its connection to the file server. I have to browse the network, and put in the username/password for access to the file server to reestablish a connection. I check the box to remember the username/password, but it doesn't seem to remember. The laptop runs Windows XP Professional (service pack 3). I wonder if it is something in the security software from Lenovo that came with the laptop that is causing this, but I don't know how to fix it. Any ideas? Thanks.
