For the last 3 months, I would just get random lag spikes while playing games. I would be running at 90ms ping, and it'll suddenly spike to 500-1000 ping. This is absolutely unplayable (CS Source, with all the rates adjusted). Also, MW2 is just laggy overall. I'll just skip forward every second or so, and even though I could have sworn I emptied an entire magazine into a guy, the death cam shows not a single round fired. I've tried to get a new router and modem, and I still have the problem. I've called Verizon over and over again (we use ADSL at 3Mbps down peak), and still can't get my problem fixed. It affects every Internet device in the house. What can I do?

Call Verizon and tell them you will change ISP if they dont fix it for you.

The problem there is the ETF... Is there any way to cancel without paying the ETF? They're really annoying me, because it's never been this bad. And every single time I call, they waste my time with things like "Unplug the modem for 10 seconds" or "Restart your computer."
