Two computers in my house are connected to my wi fi router and the internet - all is well.

These computers can also connect to my neighbour's wi fi router (I have their password! :) ) and all is well.

But my third laptop simply will not connect.

My router - it says "connected with limited access". My neighbour's router it says "could not connect".

    Any ideas why?

It does occasionally do it, but it won't do it when I want it to.

We would need to know what wireless adapter your laptop is using and what operating system is installed and go from there.

There could potentially be many variables affecting the connectivity of this laptop to wireless routers, i.e., the mode(s) of the wireless adapter and the mode(s) of the wireless routers (B,G,N, etc.), the channels that router is broadcasting on and channel that the wireless adapter is configured for.

The first thing I would try is making sure you have installed the latest drivers for the wireless adapter on your laptop and then providing us with more information. :)
