So im in college and my laptop works with my university network just fine but whenever i come home i cant ise it because as soon as i turn on my laptop it causes the network to crash for both my laptop and the main computer.

All i get is "the DNS lookup failed" fromy browser.

We called our ISP and the first person said they didnt see any problems and the second guy said he saw we were getting "high interference noise" that was causing our connection to drop.

My laptop is an alienware m17x R3.

How do you connect it- via Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable?
Do the other way of connecting causes the same effect?

Check if you have IP set to be automatically obtained. It's possible that it's set to static and there is an IP conflict on the network.
Also make sure you disable AV software and software firewall if you use one (just for testing).

What is the router you are using?
Make sure the drivers for the network cards on all machines are up to date.
Can you log into the router on the main compuer and when it "crashes" your network how do you get it back up?
