I just recently just got a new gateway laptop for chirstmas... whoot! and I was wondering if i could set it up a certain way...

It has wireless internet access which i set up fine, and I was also directly connect it to the internet via ethernet connection (i think thats what its called :/) Anyway, i play a lot of xbox live, which needs an ethernet internet connection. And my question is, is it possible to connect my xbox to my laptop via the ethernet connection the use my laptop's wireless internet connection for my xbox. I tried hooking it up but my laptop recognized the xbox as an internet source, which of course its not.

So if anyone knows how to confirgure this I would be gratefull if you would share it with me. Thanks in advance!

Yes you can. You need ICS running on your NB. Then set the nic port to be the bridge, and the wireless as the source. Wireless is not good for FP games due to lags. It will be more with the relay (ICS).
