This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Lan direct connection problem! vista to xp.

    I managed to connect my new vista NB with XP PC using direct lan (cross over). The problem that i can only see the NB through the PC, but when i use NB to connect to the PC the following message appears :(

    you cannot connect to pc-1 (PC) ,please contact server provider for ......
