    Laggy online game lead me to find this...

    It happens once every 2 to 3 seconds. I know about background internet noise, but it hasn't affected my online gaming until now.

    I tried renewing my ip address, but the same ip's are sending packet even after I do that.

    How can i avoid this? is this the work of a new virus/worm?

    What, exactly, is happening? Is your router getting hit with HTTP packets - probably requests for a connection - sent repeatedly by these IPs?

    Do you know the actual IP address for the IPs that are doing this, and have you run them through whois or otherwise tried to identify to whom those IPs are registered?
