I just bought a Clevo 6165 a couple days ago and I am having lag spikes while playing D3. I am a complete noob at wireless networking so I don't even know what to ask or what to look for. My older laptop doesn't seem to have the same problem, I can play games without any problems there. How do I know if its my wireless card at fault? How can I know if my drivers are updated? I just installed the drivers that came with the box. If there's a remote chance of me fixing it instead of returning it and waiting a couple more weeks I'd give it a shot. Thanks.

I'm having massive lag spikes as well, up to 3000+ ping. It doesn't interfere with browsing or streaming, only interactive things like games and VoIP. It went away for a while, and just came back yesterday. This morning it was fine, but now it makes everything completely unplayable.

Do you play any other online games. If you do, is D3 the only game where you are getting lagg spikes and are you certain the spikes are related to your connection and not dropping framerate? It's best to make sure the issue is with your equipment rather than somewhere between you and the D3 servers. The former we can help you fix, the latter, not really.

I updated the drivers and it made a whole world of a difference. It is kinda weird seeing my new laptop unable to play games and having trouble browsing the internet while having excellent signal strength in my room, while my old laptop never had any problems at all, and I never bothered updating drivers cause I wasn't really that aware of it. I'll try to monitor it for a bit and see if this fixed the problem. Thanks.
