    Hey guys,

I just bought an Alienware M17 laptop from Dell. Great machine, but I've had one scathing problem.

When there's a high bandwidth content coming through the computer, the network connection keels over and disconnects.
It's ALWAYS during a game like Team Fortress 2 or Dota 2. It's rarely during website loads or online videos.
The wireless card in the M17 is the one mentioned in the forum title, the Killer Wireless-N 1202.
My router is a 2 year old Netgear and I've never had a problem with it.
The laptop is the only thing that disconnects and I've never had an issue with a previous laptop.
This has been going on for a week and a half now. I tried updates and firmware this and reinstall the drivers and everything Dell suggests.
I know quite a few people have had an isse with the card and I'm looking for a concrete solution.
Anyone have an idea or solution?

    Thanks in advance!!

Try the latest driver then tell us if the issue still persists. Use the Killer Cleaner first then reboot, then install the new driver and reboot

It started the second day after I had the laptop. The best, and possibly the only REAL, solution is to log into your router directly via the IP/ethernet cable and check the firmware.
What happened with me was the firmware was updated, but the recent update didn't instal correctly and I had to redo it.
    Start there first!
