Although the N1535 has yet to appear in any new notebooks or offered as an upgrade Killer Networking has released a new version of their Killer Performance Suite with N1535 support and new Windows 7 and 8.1 Bluetooth drivers for the N1535.
Drivers with Windows 10 support are promised by time Windows 10 is released on July 29,2015

    EDIT:
The new Bluetooth drivers for the 2nd generation Killer N1535 with Bluetooth 4.1 also work on the 1st generation N1525 with Bluetooth 4.0
I just finished installing on an MSI GS60 that has an N1525

I'd like to see how much these cards will cost in the aftermarket.

Power Notebooks sold the N1525 on ebay for about $55 at first but now it can be had for about $45 so I expect the N1535 should be about the same.

Ummm...do you know if the extended range on the N1535 only affects 5Ghz in AC or does it apply to 5Ghz in general?

Any difference between this and the 1525 other than Bluetooth 4.2?

I believe the Killer N1535 specs state Bluetooth 4.1 on Windows 10 installations.

The Intel AC-8260 is marketed as having Bluetooth 4.2
