I will try to make it short.
I had Kerio Firewall installed on one of my computer, i had the "gatway serivce" enable in the firewall, but when I enabled that, something stranged happend. The computer that got internet via the computer with Kerio, wasn't able to contact the Kerio-computer at all, wasn't able to ping, connect to the FTP or anything. But the Kerio computer could ping the other computer.
So it was like the Kerio computer was behind a router, but it had a public IP. No one from the net could either do stuff to the kerio-computer, ex ping, connect to the FTP or anything, even though I had checked that it should be able to do it in the settings for Kerio.
So I uninstalled Kerio, but, it still is so even after I have removed it.
So I tryed to switch network card, but still the same thing.
So I disconnected it from the Internet and connected it to another computer via a twisted network-cable. But still the same thing, it wasn't able to ping the Kerio-computer, but it was possible to ping the other computer from the Kerio-computer. And same thing with FTP-servers, I couldn't connect to a ftp on Kerio-computer but was able to connect to a ftp on the other computer via the Kerio-computer.
So, there I am, some one has a cloue? This is very strange and anyoing!!!

You are definately being blocked by a firewall. By chance when you uninstalled Kerio did it turn on the MS one. If you are using XP have you tried rooling back to a working state?

I don't use the recovery serivce in XP.
The FW built-in to XP isn't actived.
Kerio Firewall has messed up my Connection.
