    Here's the deal.

I use to be able to lock the laptop, and then close the lid, and it would keep the internet on.

Well I updated a driver the other day, and it kept screwing up, so I did a restore of the computer. Everything is good, however, now when I lock it and close the lid, the internet shuts off.

Is there any way to change it back to the way I had it.

    UPDATE:

Okay, well, it did it again, let aim, yahoo, and msn messenger, along with stickam up, and when I woke up, I was disconnected from all 4, and the wireless light thing was orange meaning no activity, as soon as I opened the lid, it went to blue, and started the process of connecting.

Make sure that closing the lid does not put it to sleep or hibernate. If it doesn't do any of those, then closing it and locking it should keep it running and the internet working.

HailttRedskins, in case you don't know where to look, those settings would be in the power management settings.
